At the end of the course it is expected that participants will:

  • be better-informed about Auckland's key drivers and issues
  • have met some of the leading individuals and organisations
  • understand the interrelatedness of these areas
  • understand the importance of Auckland's success and wellbeing to New Zealand
  • understand Auckland's place internationally

and....

  • understand what good leadership entails
  • have developed their own leadership skills
  • and understand their own leadership capabilities and aptitudes (civic, corporate or community)
  • have developed a drive and zeal for helping to make Auckland "one of the world's great places to live and work".
