Committee for Auckland hosted a roundtable with Jeremy Lightfoot, Secretary and Chief Executive of the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport.

Discussion focused on Auckland’s future growth, the Auckland Deal, urban development, transport reform and collaboration between central government, local government, business and civic leaders.

The roundtable highlighted the need for place-based approaches, long-term thinking and stronger collaborative partnerships to support Auckland’s future prosperity.
