Committee for Auckland welcomed Rt Hon Chris Hipkins, Leader of the Opposition, for a State of Auckland Breakfast hosted by Aurecon. The event attracted approximately 150 senior leaders from Auckland’s business, civic and public sectors.

Discussion centred on the importance of long-term bipartisan support for Auckland’s growth and development. Committee for Auckland shared progress on the Auckland Narrative programme, now evolving into Whitiki Tauā | Auckland’s Action Agenda, and discussed approaches for collaborative delivery of Auckland’s future priorities.

The event generated strong engagement and reinforced the value of ongoing cross-sector dialogue about Auckland’s future.
